Pretty good mix Jul 26, 2010 Myself being a neat freak, counted the dice I received and separated them into different types. Over all I received 99 dice, which was way more than i could ever need more than likely. I know i recieved more than 20 d10s and 30 d6s. I wish I had received more than 2 d12 or 4 d4s. Not terribly useful dice, but it would be easier not to lose them now. The colors the dice are are really sweet and enjoyable to look at. Other than the lack of d12 and d4s no real complaints.
dice enough to smite any pc group Jul 21, 2010 these dice arrived promptly and are all new i loved the complete set and it now gives me extras to pass out durring the game so that my players can make a single roll instead of several.
LOTS of great dice, but few of some types Jul 21, 2010 There was a bit too few d4, d8, and d10%, but with so many beautiful dice for such a low price, I can't complain!
Dice total: 95
7 of those dice came in their own small envelope as a uniform set
(d4,d6,d8,d10,d10%,d12,d20)
The breakdown (including the 7-die set):
d6 (dots): 18
four were tiny, one was large, and one had a dragon on the 6 side
d4: 3
d6 (numbers): 12
d8: 4
d10: 26
d10%: 4
d12: 9
d20: 19

Very Satisfied Jul 14, 2010 Just got my dice in the mail literally 20 minutes ago, tallied them up and I'm quite happy with the distribution, quality, and variety of dice I received. Here's my breakdown (with the complete, matching set of dice that come packaged within counted in the parens)
d4: 3 (1)
d6:
- Huge, pipped: 1
- Normal-sized, numbered: 12 (1)
- Normal-sized, pipped: 9
- Super-tiny, pipped: 8
d8: 6 (1)
d10:
- Regular d10s: 22 (1)
- Percentile: 4 (1)
d12: 6 (1)
d20: 19 (1)
That's a total of 97 dice, and in the 20 minutes I've been poking through them, I haven't noticed a significant paint flaw or scratch. The super-tiny d6s are ridiculous, as is the one huge brown d6, but that's fine. Like most everyone else, I've found Chessex is skimpy on the d4, d8, and d12, but I don't use those often anyway -- I'm happy to get relatively close numbers of d6 (31 total), d10 (28 total), and d20 (20 total). At the price I purchased this bag at, that's less than $.20 a die, and I'm happy with that.
Great Role-Playing Deal Jul 11, 2010 The Chessex Pound of Dice is a great deal for any role-playing needs.
Expect fast and easy shipment of the dice. You will not be disappointed with this purchase if you are looking for a variety of dice for a great price. This is the perfect deal for rpg players as it provides a variety of die styles to choose from.
As a DM, the pound-o-dice works great, as most of my players do not have their own dice. Plus, if a player get mad at a certain dice they have more to choose from.
All dice perform great, with the exception of one twenty-sided that commonly rolls critical misses and fours.
There was 101 dice in my set, which I split with one of my rpg players.
